Kendriya Vidyalaya HVF, Avadi is one of the earliest KVs established by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan to provide quality education to all sections of the society irrespective of religion, caste, and gender. This premier institution is a flag bearer in the field of education and symbolises the ideals laid down by the Sangathan.

This vidyalaya believes in being instrumental in moulding its children to become future agents of change - a change that will make the world more egalitarian and just. We, in K V HVF, are committed to provide all round development to our children which will help them to strive for a balanced approach towards life. The vidyalaya focuses on academic development as well as development of co-scholastic areas. But everything becomes meaningless without inculcating the right values in our children. Gandhiji’s views on education becomes paramount here, when he says “By education I mean an all round drawing out of the best in child and man–body, mind and spirit.”

Further drawing on Gandhiji’s ideals we also believe that true education is nothing but character building which encompasses values like compassion, kindness, fair mindedness and devotion to work.
